Why Should I use a Pet Sitter?

When you hire Tail Waggers you are getting a professional pet sitter whose main focus is your pets well being and happiness.

Your pet stays at home where they are comfortable, have all their toys and feel secure.

Your pet continues their normal rountine, feeedings, walks, playtime and bedtime.

There is minimal exposure to illness when they remain at home.

Most importantly, your pet receives love and personal attention while you are away.
Our business is to take care of your pet. While we are with them they are our focus and we love spending our days running, walking, playing and cuddling!

What is a FREE consultation?
Before we accept any jobs we come out to meet you and your pets, to make sure everyone gets along. We also gather information about your pet. Their feeding and exercise routine, as well as health and vet information.

When is payment due?
For new clients we require payment up front at the time of the consultation. If you decide after the consultation to use our services there is a $10 fee for payment pickup. After you are an established client payment can be left for us on the first visit.

What if I need to cancel?
There is no charge if you cancel within 48 hours of your first scheduled visit. If you cancel less than 48 hours there is a $25 fee.

What if my pet has a health emergency while I am away?
We will take your pet to the closest veternarian and contact you as soon as possible. If your pet has a non emergency health issue we will call you to let you know and to see how you wish to proceed.

How long is an overnight stay?
An overnight stay is from 8pm to 8am. We feed and exercise your pet in the evening and again in the morning. If you need us to check in midday we will do that for an additional $10.

How far ahead do I need to schedule?
48 hours ahead of your departure.

What do I need to provide Tail Waggers?
We need you to provide a working key to your house. We will accept garage door openers but require a key as well in case the power goes out.
